What arrives with the goods
Certification is only useful if it reaches the buyer. Our commitments on traceability, documentation and non-conformance are set out below.
Material traceability
Items requiring traceability are supplied with mill test certificates to EN 10204 3.1, heat numbers recorded against the delivery note, and certificates issued with the consignment rather than on request.
Sour service
Wetted components for sour duty are specified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156, with hardness and heat-treatment records supplied against the certificate.
Hazardous-area equipment
Ex equipment is supplied with the certificate of conformity, the manufacturer’s declaration, and the marking plate photographed against the serial number before despatch.
Inspection and release
Goods are inspected against the purchase order and specification on receipt. Third-party inspection and witness points are accommodated where the contract calls for them.
Non-conformance
Non-conforming material is quarantined, reported to the buyer within one working day, and replaced or credited. Root cause is recorded and shared.
